Tayrona National Park Fleet and Rent of a Campervan
Beyond the beaches: a tropical island paradise
The National Park covers 12,000 hectares of land and 3,000 hectares of sea. Tayrona's hot and tropical climate is home to sandy beaches, corral reefs, rainforests, lagoons, 300 species of birds, 108 species of mammals, archaeological sites, and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (the world's highest coastal mountain range). Some popular walks are no longer available due to the wishes of the indigenous residents.
